Erika Ender´s Fundación Puertas Abiertas
Founded by the Panamanian singer-songwriter Erika Ender, the FUNDACIÓN PUERTAS ABIERTAS is a Non-Governmental Organization, established as a Private Non-Profit Foundation on February 10, 2009, and recognized as a social, non-profit organization by the Ministry of Government through resolution No. 131-PJ-2019, dated May 20, 2019. The Foundation focuses on four Programmatic Areas aimed at the child and youth population of Panama:
Raising Awareness of Children's and Adolescents' Rights.
Child Nutrition through family self-sustainability and the empowerment of mothers.
Comprehensive Education and Training for Adolescents.
Promotion of Culture and Development of Artistic Talents.
Since 2009, and especially with the launch of the TalenPro Project in 2017 (an Inter-school Competition that promotes "Talent with Purpose"), Fundación Puertas Abiertas has achieved a high-impact national reach, benefiting more than 40,000 children and adolescents through educational programs, renovated educational environments, university scholarships, exchanges between students and internationally recognized artists, early childhood nutrition programs, among others. To accomplish this sustained effort, the Foundation relies on a team of highly committed professionals and volunteers dedicated to the rights of children and adolescents, as well as significant partners and sponsoring companies.
Our Pillars
Rights of children and adolescents
We promote, through rights, the protection and well-being of children and adolescents, ensuring their holistic development and a safe environment for their growth.
Comprehensive Education for Adolescents
We provide comprehensive education to prepare adolescents for a successful future, both personally and professionally, while also serving as a bridge to their university education.
Promotion of culture and talents
We promote creative expression and talent development among young people to enrich their cultural, personal, and social lives, and to impact the community by using art as a vehicle.
Family Nutrition
We improve family nutrition by creating food and economic self-sustainability, empowering mothers as leaders of the household.

AmorEcos, official FUNPAEE volunteering
AmorEcos, part of Fundación Puertas Abiertas, is a volunteer group that was born more than two decades ago from Erika Ender’s fan club in Panama, with the mission of being a different kind of club, committed to social responsibility, as Erika requested from the start. Over the years, they have worked tirelessly, spreading echoes of love, opportunities, and lending a helping hand to those in need, engaging in activities that create a positive impact. Today, AmorEcos is a family that transcends cultures, races, and religions, united by the purpose of serving the most vulnerable, participating in all the Foundation's programs, especially TalenPro.
We invite you to become part of this great family and join our efforts to build a better world.
