What is TalenPro?
TalenPro (TALENT with PURPOSE) is a program of Fundación Puertas Abiertas, created and designed by Erika Ender, that combines entertainment, culture, values, social responsibility, and education. Through an interschool competition in categories such as Best Performer, Best Song, Best Dance Group, and Best Audiovisual, high school seniors from various schools and regions of the country showcase their talent in an environment of responsibility, solidarity, and values.
This program not only represents a generational change but also focuses on prevention and supports families and teachers. It is an innovative program that makes an impact on both a micro and macro level, fostering comprehensive improvement for all involved. The combination of talent and purpose determines the winner, who receives a full university scholarship.
How does TalenPro work?
TalenPro, the program of Fundación Puertas Abiertas created by Erika Ender, is an inter-school competition that combines artistic development with a focus on social impact. High school students compete in categories such as Best Performer, Best Song, Best Dance Group, and Best Audiovisual, representing their schools and regions across the country.
The methodology of TalenPro is based on a comprehensive approach that goes beyond artistic talent. Once the finalists are determined based on their artistic performance in various categories, the competition involves the active participation of their respective schools through the STUDENT BRIGADE. This brigade, composed of students from the same school, supports the contestant and, under the guidance of the MENTOR TEACHER, carries out social work for the community, having previously received life skills workshops with a 360-degree human growth approach. This combination of human intelligence and social work is designed to promote awareness and individual and social improvement.
The human growth of the finalist and their peers, along with the successful completion of social work, adds additional points to the contestant’s talent score, contributing to the determination of the winner in each category. The Grand Final, a televised event on a national network, features a major show with national and international stars. Winners are chosen by an expert jury based on their artistic experience, and the contestant with the most outstanding combination of talent, human intelligence, and social responsibility receives a full university scholarship.
TalenPro not only seeks to highlight talent but also aims to generate positive generational change by supporting families and educators and fostering both micro and macro impacts on society.
What is the scope of TalenPro?
A life school that uses art as a vehicle for generational and social transformation, like TalenPro, has a profound impact on both participants and the world. For young people, it provides a platform to develop and express their artistic talents while learning vital skills such as social responsibility and teamwork. This experience fosters a sense of purpose and empowerment, encouraging them to become agents of change in their communities.
Globally, such initiatives contribute to creating a culture of empathy and social commitment. By using art to address and support social causes, they promote greater awareness and mobilize efforts toward societal improvement. This approach can lead to generational change, inspiring new generations to value and work towards a more just and supportive world. Moreover, it strengthens the connection between education, culture, and social responsibility, generating a positive impact that transcends borders and contributes to a more conscious and equitable society.
